Nursery

Well, we are getting pretty close to the big day. We are to the stage now where Natalie goes to see the doctor every week. If we had to guess at this point, we would say that she is not going to come early. But Natalie is still doing well, and we're both pretty relaxed and just ready for her to get here.

A little down time has allowed us to tie up some loose ends such as finishing the nursery. This room used to be an office, and will hopefully be an office again sometime in the undetermined future, so we decided to not do too much rearranging or painting. Here is the full tour:







This seemed a very appropriate reminder to have hanging over the changing table.
The art was my contribution to the decor. We had these illustrations printed on canvas, and they turned out great. Click on the image for a closer look.

    You should commission some artwork for the masses. I've quickly learned that if you have something for "babies" then you can charge a 1000% markup and it will sell like hotcakes.

    this is by far the coolest nursery i've seen. and you definitely need to get those illustrations on the market!

    I would LOVE to be your first customer. I, as one of the masses would be happy to commission some similar artwork featuring Sam & Memphis. I realize this is a bit of a busy time at the moment with the arrival of Josie, but I just wanted to officially put in my request.
